History

Founding
———
Our NGO, “David Jimoh Foundation,” was founded in 2022 by a passionate individual David Jimoh Adeiza. Motivated by the urgent need to combat poverty and improve education in underserved communities, the founder established the organization with a vision of creating lasting change.

Early Years
————
In the first few years, we focused on some communities in Lagos and Ogun State, implementing educational programs, financial empowerment program, rehabilitation program and providing basic healthcare services. With the help of local volunteers, we served over 100 adults and children in our first year.

Growth and Expansion
————
By 2024, “David -Jimoh Foundation” began to expand its efforts, establishing partnerships with local schools and government agencies. This allowed us to secure funding and resources to broaden our outreach.

Milestones
————
– In early 2025 we reached a milestone of serving over 1000 beneficiaries across multiple programs.
– 2024: Awarded the Community Impact Award for our innovative approach to education.
– 2023: Launched the “Empowerment Workshops,” focusing on vocational training for adults, helping them gain skills for better employment opportunities.

Current Focus
————
Today, our organization operates in three regions, addressing key issues such as education, healthcare, rehabilitation and economic empowerment. Our programs now include the “Scholarship Fund,” “Community Health Initiatives,” and “Job Skills Training,” reflecting our commitment to holistic community development.

Looking Ahead
————
As we look to the future, “David -Jimoh Foundation” aims to expand our impact by introducing new programs that address climate change and sustainability. We remain dedicated to our mission of empowering the less privileged through sustainable individual and community partnership, building a better future, with the continued support of our donors and volunteers.
